OCTOBER 22-OCTOBER 26

Report cards went home on Friday.  They are to be signed and returned by next Friday.  You may return them when you meet me at conference time.  The SLE card also needs to be signed and returned.  I am looking forward to meeting with all of you.  Dismissal is at 12:30  everyday this week because of conferences.  A reminder:  conferences are only 15 minutes long.

Monday is the beginning of Red Ribbon Week.  A schedule of all activities went home on Friday.  There will be a free dress day on Wednesday.  Students are suppose to wear red.  Next week is also the Book Fair.  Your child will preview on Monday and bring home a wish list.  You are free to browse at the Book Fair all week long.   .

A living rosary which will include our new faith families will be prayed on Friday at 8:00.

Thank you to all the drivers who went to the Pumpkin Patch.  Thank you for the snacks.  The children all had a wonderful time.

A note will be going home about our service project.  We will be supplying the D Street Shelter with needed items for their clients.  I would like items turned in by November 9.

On Saturday evening, from 5-8pm, the Halloween Carnival will be held at the school.  The first grade will be hosting 2 booths.  A note went home Friday to all parents about the carnival.  I hope to see you there.

I would like all students to bring in a leaf by Wednesday.

A REMINDER:  Please check your child's folder nightly for homework, flyers, or other important information.  Homework is not being completed and returned.  Readers are not being brought back and planners are not be signed.  This affects your child's effort and subject matter grade  Thank you.
