MARCH 31-APRIL 4

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter vacation. We are now on the last stretch of the school year. Remind your children to keep on doing their best. The 60's information that your child sent in was great and very informative. Thank you for your help in that area.

Wednesday is Jump For Heart for children K-5 if they signed up.

Thursday is wear an anniversary t-shirt or sweatshirt if your child has one. Hopefully you have already purchased one.

Friday is Grandparent's Day. All school mass is at 8:15. Breakfast is going to be served after mass and then at 11:00 will be the teacher's lip sync. That should be fun. Dismissal is at 12:30.

Saturday is the Open House/Anniversary Celebration. Mass will be at 9:00 and then all classrooms will be open until 1:00. Please come and celebrate with us and check out the decades in each classroom.

In Reading we will be getting ready for another reading assessment. We continue to work on vowel sounds, sequencing, cause and effect, categories, blends, base words and their endings, summarizing, comprehension and vocabulary. In Math we are finishing up fractions and will be taking a test later on this week. In Science we are learning about solids, liquids, and gases. In Social Studies we are learning about things that happened in the 60's. In Religion we will learn about the Holy Spirit. In P.E. we have finished up our dance unit and will be beginning a new unit in ball handling.
