It is greatly appreciated. You have 2 weeks to bring in your items. I will be delivering all items on the 23rd of this month.
We are starting Level II in reading. In reading we are reviewing contractions, endings of s, ed and ing, cause and effect, categories, predictions, short a and i, plurals, naming and action part of a sentence, and comprehension. During the week I will be testing each child individually on reading vocabulary. In math we will start a new chapter on subtraction. We will continue math timed tests on addition facts whose sum are no higher than 10. In science we are working on the ecosystem. In religion we are talking about God's creation of the world and praising Him for all that he made. In spelling we are working on short i.
Friday is the end of the first quarter. Report cards will go out the following week.
