The first graders did a great job on their morning Advent Prayer. I was very proud of them. Thank you to all of the parents who came and watched.
We have a very busy week ahead of us. On Tuesday there will be the all-school mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. On Wednesday you are to drop your child off at by 8:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. We will have a rehearsal at the church for the Christmas Program. The children will be transported back to OLM School in private cars. I have not had all of the permission slips returned. It is very important that you sign the permission slip and return it by Monday. Thank you to those of you who will be helping out with the driving.
Your child should be at St. Patrick's Church no later than 6:15 on Wednesday evening. The program begins at 6:30. Please have your children dress appropriately. I sent home a note on attire. Girls should wear a dress if they have one and the boys should wear nice slacks and a shirt. I would prefer no jeans. Your children have been practicing everyday. Thank you to those of you who worked on the words during Thanksgiving break. It was a great help.
There will be no vocabulary words this week. This gives your child a chance to review the ones they already have.
Remember this is the season of Advent. It is a time to reflect on our blessings and to think of others. Thank you to those of you who have already turned in the flour or sugar for the needy. If you have read this blog have your child write down on a piece of paper whose feast day was December 6th. Have a great week. GOD LOVES YOU!
