The first grade field trip is on Wednesday, May 13. We will leave the school around 10:30 and travel to Barnes and Noble. We will have a story time there and be able to look around at books. We will then leave and travel to McDonald's on Childs Avenue. We will take a tour of the facility and then eat lunch. When we are finished we will travel back to OLM. The students will have free dress. It should be a fun day. Your child will not need any money unless he/she wishes to purchase a book at the bookstore. Drivers for the field trip have been contacted. Please be at school by 10:20. Thank you for your cooperation.
Continue to work on vocabulary, short and long vowel sounds and reading comprehension at home.
